Born in Montmartre (Paris, France), Céelle is a former student of the University of Decorative Arts, interior and graphic designer.
His many voyages in Italy make him appreciate the architecture of that country.
In Rome, Céelle discovers the houses front sides and, in Venice, the lanes, the old palates, the doors and the channels. The old Norman houses, the marines and flower bunches also form part of his favourite topics.
Prize winner of many distinctions of which the Meurand Price granted by the Institute of France.
A monograph of Tony Lammar, richly illustrated of engravings, drawings, watercolours and oils makes it possible to follow forty years of Ceelle's pictorial evolution.
