Born in Rheims (France), J. Couret has a passion for arts since her childhood. She began painting by the beginning of the 90's. This quickly recognized artist participated in several exhibitions and won the Pierre Dujardin contest first price in Boulogne-sur-Mer (France).
Sensitive, J. Couret evolved, not wishing to remain on her beginnings and unceasingly bringing a renewal to her paintings, where the red and the yellow intermingle to make colors burst.
Scenes of characters representing the dance, the musicians, the fashion, will thus be found as grabbed in a singular movement that the pallet of the painter takes fun in making it turn.
Ad infinitum multiplying by ten the alternatives of a yellow color, J. Couret finds her inspiration in the woman where the harmonious forms and the expressions are synonymous of beauty and grace.
The topic of the sea is also present in marines with sailing boats showing all sails set, and the boats being tossed about in the wind.
