Bernard M. Collet
Bernard M. Collet studied at the École Supérieure des Beaux-Arts de Paris and the Académie Julian, as well as in the studios of Mac-Avoy, Berthommé Saint-André, and Michel Ciry.
He has exhibited regularly in all the major Parisian salons, including the Salon d’Automne, the Salon des Artistes Français, and the Salon des Indépendants.
Bernard Marie Collet’s pastels perfectly express his deep connection with nature. His work is both spontaneous and controlled, delicate and unexpected, suffused with a soft, sunlit atmosphere in shades of blue and pink.
The principal themes of Bernard Marie Collet’s work include memories of travels in Italy and the Middle East, as well as discoveries and long walks along the shores of Corsica and Brittany.
